Swapping and Editing Heads

I am still only using (or attempting to use) the very basics of Photoshop. I wish I could learn more of the in depth stuff but I just don't know where to start or what should teach me, a class, youtube, a book, I just don't know. 

Anyway I had a friend send me some shots of her kids and she didn't like the way her little girl turned out. So, she sent me some alternates for the little gal.

This is what I ended with. Did it work? Hope so. I am not confident in my work but I do think it was better than what I started with. Wanna see what I started with? I know if you see it then you won't be able to look at the edited pictures the same. Oh well. Here it goes....

Preggers

She is half way done being pregnant and aren't they a perfect couple. I cannot wait to take pictures when their little dude arrives. But for now I will practice with more and more maternity shots.... 

A good laugh

I needed a good laugh yesterday so I wasted my time and swapped some faces on the M family. It was hilarious and I am still laughing about it!! Don't look to close or else you will see that I didn't blend anything but tell me that isn't funny! I love it!

Aren't they adorable!? Getting five kids and parents to look at the camera all at the same time is much easier said than done.

Picture Frame Photos

Tell me these are not fetchin' cute?! I dare ya. I love them! The possibilities are endless with this simply large picture frame! 

It does help that they were pretty photogenic but seriously love this frame and the shots we got. Can we try again in a field of tall weeds and in the snow. I love these pics they seriously turned out great and I am pleasantly surprised! 

Dancing Queen

This is my first attempt at changing the background. I don't love it because I feel like it looks to un-natural. Does it? That is what I hate about editing. It gets to the point where I can't tell if I am making it look better or worse.

Look at this nice big ole buck! It's a good one! The Mr. was ecstatic about it! These pictures and edits are all from him and I think he did a pretty good job!

Girlies and Puppies

Isn't it great to have a dog that will let kids love on them. The trick is getting them both to hold still at the same second for a picture. I so wish I had this picture of my kids with our dog that died this summer...

Look who is home!

This missionary came home on Tuesday. How great is that! He and his mama are happy together at the airport after two whole years of being apart.

Tis the Season

That is right! He is cutting down our Christmas tree. I am so excited for this season. It makes me happy. Even if we have a tiny Christmas tree and only about 5 Christmas decorations out in our teeny cabin this year. Christmas will still find us and I am hoping some snow will too....

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Let's enjoy it!

Editing

I have been editing like a crazy person for the H family. I actually stayed up until 2:30am last night. It was greeaaat! No kids and no husband yelling at me to get off the computer!

I loved this picture of K but the sun washed it out bad. So I edited it to the best of my knowledge.... at this point. This is what I ended with, what do you think. Is it still too washed out? For my liking yes, but it was too good of a picture of her to not at least try....
